  • ANOTHER LIL WAYNE AND CHANCE THE RAPPER COLLABORATION IS ON THE WAY

  • As label issues persist, Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V is still stuck in purgatory, merely a
figment of our imaginations at this point. But that certainly hasn’t stopped Tunechi from recording.
His ColleGrove mixtape with 2 Chainz is set to drop tomorrow, and this month alone he’s already delivered guest verses on Zayn’s “Pillowtalk (Remix),” Mannie Fresh’s “Hate,” Curren$y’s “Fat Albert,” and Yo Gotti’s “Bible.” Also on deck: a verse for Chance the Rapper.
Wayne revealed the upcoming collab while broadcasting on the streaming app LiVideo.
This is worthy of celebrating for (at least) two reasons: First, it means that we’re going to get a follow up to “You Song,” the superb first collab from these two, which appeared on Weezy’s 2013 Dedication 5; it also suggests that Chano is at work on his third mixtape — which is something he’s been hinting at and referencing for some time now, but any added confirmation is welcome.
