If there’s one thing
Ariana Grande is known for — besides her insane voice, of course
— it’s
her ponytail. Her trademark hairstyle is classic, pairs well with most outfits, and, I’m afraid, is also weighing her head down. This ponytail problem recently came to my attention as I looked at some photos of Ariana modeling
her new Lipsy collection, and quickly realized that her head is, like, always tilted.
The only constant in all of the photos? That damn ponytail!
It all begins innocently enough, with a subtle head tilt. If I didn’t know better, I’d just think she was just pulling a playful pose, tugging at her ponytail. Fortunately, I doknow better.
In another shot, the tilt helps her avoid the static of the balloon she’s modeling with, but it also looks like she is frozen.
Eventually, she just had to give in to the weight of the full ponytail, deepening the tilt. She couldn’t hold a balloon or even her hair — she had to focus on not falling over.
Here, Ariana takes a wide stance to maintain her balance. That’s the power of the ponytail.
OMFG, her ear is basically on her shoulder!!!!! Can someone get this girl a heating pad or something?!? Or maybe just take out her weave?
