Earlier last week, Selena Gomez announced she was taking a break from music due to her ongoing battle with lupus. Dealing with anxiety and depression as side effects from the autoimmune disease, the Revival singer needed some heavy R&R to recuperate.
Recently, Selenators pulled together and created the hashtag #PrayForSelena,
sending Gomez words and photos of encouragement and hoping for a speedy
recovery. However, six other fandoms are also participating: Swifties,
Harmonizers, Directioners, Lovatics, Arianators, and Beliebers. It’s a
true example of fandoms working together, putting any differences in
opinion aside, and just being there for Gomez during this difficult
time.
