UK singer announces 1st album in 38 years on 90th birthday

American Rock ‘n’ roll star Chuck Berry has announced a new album during his 90^th birthday celebration.

The LP titled Chuck will be released in 2017 through Dualtone Records.

It’s Berry’s first studio album in 38 years, and he’s dedicating it to his wife of 68 years, Themetta Berry.

‘This record is dedicated to my beloved Toddy. My darlin’, I’m growing old! I’ve worked on this record for a long time. Now I can hang up my shoes,’ he said in a statement.

Berry’s last album, Rock It was released in 1979. He was honoured with Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1984.
