Yemi Alade and Mi Casa just dropped a new song

Earlier this year, Mi Casa spoke to MTV base and revealed that they were working on something “big” with Yemi Alade but that we would only hear it in a few months. So you can imagine how excited we were to learn that the song would be coming out on Thursday! The band announced their new track “Get Through This” on social media this week:

Yemi Alade added backing vocals before she came in with an impressive, sexy second verse. There can be no doubting that this song works for both artists and we were particularly impressed to see that Maleek Berry produced the song.

As you can imagine, J’Something didn’t let us down with a trademark hook where sings “We gon’ get through this”. Considering that Yemi Alade will be performing at this year’s MTV MAMAs, we can’t wait to see if they will surprise us with a surprise performance. Check it out below:
