Just days after his surprising exit from Givenchy, Riccardo Tisci has unveiled his new project – a collaboration with sportswear giant, Nike who he had collaborated with a few times in the past.
The new collaboration sees Tisci rework the Nike Dunk and he tapped model Bella Hadid
to front the campaign. In the black and white photo shared by Bella on
her Instagram, the model is perched on his laps wearing the new sneakers
and a sports bra without pants.
Speaking on the campaign, Tisci said, “I
think the Dunk has something that’s very special. It’s grounded in sport
as well as in the street style culture. For younger generations it can
fit as many different styles tribes as you can imagine. I think it’s one
of the most iconic shoes that Nike has ever created.”
The new collaboration has got the whole world wondering if maybe, just maybe Nike is the new destination for the Italian man.
