‘Nicki ain’t had shit before Bottoms Up’ – Trey Songz shades the heck out of Nicki Minaj

Nicki and Trey gave us the hit, ‘Bottoms Up’

We can now say with all authority that 2017 isn’t Nicki Minaj‘s year – at least not with all the shots that’s being thrown her way.

Well, the latest person to throw some shade her way is Trey Songz. The singer isn’t too happy about how Nicki came at him on Twitter last month.

Nicki felt that Trigga didn’t do enough to defend her honour after Remy Ma accused her of sleeping with him in her scattering diss track, ‘Shether.’

Today, March 24, Trigga offered up his opinions on the situation during a stop by Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club after Charlamagne asked Trey if Nicki had served up an apology.

‘No she hasn’t, and Nicki I love you. And Nicki said she gave me six platinum, but let’s keep it real, Nicki ain’t had shit before ‘Bottoms Up,’ Trigga explained.

He went on to explain that Nicki wasn’t the star she is today when she appeared on his 2010 single, a track that Nicki claimed she was responsible for making as successful as it was.

‘I love you Nicki. I love you. You came at me wrong, you disrespected me, but I love you,‘ Trey continued.

‘You need to go research something before you talk, you wanna be petty? i gotta be petty too – it took you a whole week to say something to Remy. Y’all gotta realize i really don’t give a fuck’.

The singer confessed he’s still got love for Nicki though.

The trouble began with ‘ShETHER,’ the aforementioned diss track that finds Remy Ma accusing Nicki of sleeping with Trigga.

Naturally, fans were quick to jump into Trey’s mentions on Twitter after hearing Remy’s accusation.

Trey told a few light-hearted jokes about the situation before deleting the tweets.
