The third season of the American television drama series Empire has started and of course its official music is back to our lives with a lot of new tracks coming every f*cking week.

The first taste of this new season is the first promotional single, soulful R&B-infused piece called “Need Freedom” and performed by one of the main characters, American singer-songwriter Jussie Smollett.
The song produced by Rodney Jerkins will be released on digital retailers and streaming services on September 16th, while the first episode of the new season called “Light in Darkness” was aired on September 21st on Fox.
