G-Eazy was on the verge of dropping a new single with A$AP Rocky and Cardi B joining him as features. As it turns out, that single was made available sooner than expected, coming in the form of the hot new banger “No Limit.” With an energetic trap beat providing a bouncy backbone for all three emcees, Eazy enlists two of August’s hottest hip-hop artists to craft a tight, radio-ready track.
G-Eazy’s vibe is typically authoritative, with a brooding sense of control that permeates his bar spitting throughout the track. A$AP Rocky rolls up and does his thing as well, sound reinvigorated after a stellar August Awgust that saw him play an integral role on the new A$AP Mob album Cozy Tapes Vol. 2. However, even with these two strong performances in the fold, I continue to be impressed by Cardi B. gifting us with another strong turn on this record.
