
Charlie Puth rolled out the second single from his sophomore LP, VoiceNotes, earlier today (you can pre-order the album here) and, sonically, it picks up where “Attention” left off. “How Long” is another self-produced banger that dabbles in disco and Future.
Lyrically, however, it tells a very different story. Co-written by Jacob Kasher and Justin Franks, the 25-year-old latest finds him apologizing for cheating. “I was drunk, I was gone, that don’t make it right,” he begins the song. “But I promise there were no feelings involved.
