Saturday evening, Kodak Black decided to
unleash four new tracks on the masses, kicking things off with a flip
of Lil Jon’s “Lovers and Friends” for his “Roll N Peace 2” before
delivering on “Right Now,” hosted on the same backdrop as King Louie’s
track of the same name.
The third of the release arrives in the
form of “Down South.” Recorded over the backing to Lloyd and Ashanti’s
duet “Southside,” “Down South” is a more romantic cut coming from Kodak
as he talks to a shorty from the Bronx, and entices her to join him down
in Florida.
