Actress Francia Raisa has spoken of her 'love' for
Selena Gomez after she donated one of her kidneys
to help her best mate
Francia, 25, said she was 'grateful' to have been
given the chance to help Selena, who suffers from
Lupus.
The singer, 25, broke the news by sharing a picture
of herself recovering in hospital alongside pal and
fellow actress Francia.
Taking to her own Instagram account to upload the
same snap, Francia spoke out for the first time since
their joint ordeal and wrote: "I am beyond grateful
that God would trust me with something that not only
saved a life, but changed mine in the process.
"This was part of our story, and we will share it soon,
but what is important now is that this is not the only
story."
Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease with
symptoms including body aches, fevers and extreme
fatigue - it can also lead to kidney and heart damage.
Using the caption to promote the Lupus charity, she

Beaming Francia rounded off with a decidation to her
BFF and put: "Love you sis, so glad we’re on this
